The ESL Program offers non-credit courses to English language learners focusing on the development of their speaking, writing, reading, and listening literacy skills. Students will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the end of each class.
Courses are offered over a four-week period and meet for 2-3 hours, twice per week. Students will receive a total of 20 hours of classroom instruction per course.

Program Requirements
Students interested in the ESL Program must possess their own base access. UMGC cannot provide base passes to students participating in the ESL Program.
How to Enroll
Interested in taking ESL classes? Please contact your local UMGC representative for registration information or email specialprograms-asia@umgc.edu. Registration must be completed prior to the first class meeting.
Course Cost
Each course is $150. Tuition includes a textbook and self-study DVD-ROM for the duration of the course.*
* UMGC will collect all course materials on the last day of class.
