UMGC Presents: Protecting People and the Environment; A Health & Safety Workshop
An in-depth workshop and discussion held by UMGC Program Director, Dr. Sabrina Fu, on the growing fields within Environmental Health and Safety. This broad field includes information and experience in environmental systems, laws and regulations, hazardous substances and toxicology, incident response and investigation, occupational health and industrial hygiene, and much more.
This workshop will present the core areas of Environmental Health and Safey as well as Environmental Management. Informing participants on current employment spaces and knowledge, skills, abilities, and disposition (KSADs) for Occupational and/or Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) careers. This will be an interactive workshop with polls as well as time for Q&A.
