An academic transcript is an official record of a student’s work. All academic records are confidential.
Each official transcript ordered from UMGC costs $10, except those sent to a University System of Maryland (USM) or Alliance Partner School. Those requests will be issued free of charge. A list of Alliance Partner Schools is available at the following links:
Please remember, the degree will not appear on any transcript issued prior to the degree date even if all requirements have been completed.
Ordering Transcripts through MyUMGC
If you have enrolled in courses with UMGC since the Fall 2008 term you may login to MyUMGC to request your transcript online. Once you have entered MyUMGC, please follow these steps to the online form:

Electronic official transcripts delivered via a secure certified PDF.
Paper Transcripts sent via USPS first-class mail or Express Mail (additional fees apply for Express delivery)
Paper Transcripts for pick-up at the Office of Student Services (Headquarters Europe location only)
Alternate Transcript Request Method
If you do not have access to MyUMGC to request an official transcript, you will need to create an account and use our online ordering system to order your official transcript. Once your account is created, you will be able to request transcripts online and track the status of your orders.
Transcripts for BSU Students
Prior to graduation and until an official diploma is received from BSU, transcript requests should be submitted through MyUMGC. All transcript requests after receipt of the official BSU diploma must be sent directly to BSU at the following address:
