Last date to drop for 100% and no mark on transcript:

4-week class: within first 4 calendar days

7-week class: within first 6 calendar days

8-week class: within first 7 calendar days

11-week class: within first 10 calendar days

12-week class: within the first 11 calendar days

*Final day to withdraw for fully on-site and weekend classes is one day before the final day of the course.

Special note to students

  • Dates are tentative.
  • UMGC in Asia session dates and/or course dates may differ from UMGC Stateside schedules.
  • Students must enroll for online classes 1 day before the session start date.
  • All hybrid classes officially start on the first day of the session, even if the first in-person meeting occurs later in the session.
  • Weekend classes may be conducted on the weekend the session starts and/or on the weekend the session ends.
