UMGC Presents: Starting Up Your Own Small Business

This informative session will assist all university community, active duty, and spouses in gaining information about how to start a business while stationed in Guam or abroad or planning for return to CONUS. Covered in the presentation will be help with qualifying business ideas that can be successful, the process of building a business plan, specific US state resources available to start-ups, legal entity formations, how to find investors and other relevant topics. This presentation will be held in-person and online at a UMGC classroom at NBG, and also as a Zoom webinar for participation from anywhere in Asia.
