ESL Schedule

The schedule was updated on 8/14/2025. New students are welcome to join these courses. There is no prerequisite for ESL courses. Please note the location. Classes listed as Via Zoom are online and can be taken from virtually anywhere.

The Following Courses are Scheduled to Begin Soon!

ESL 1101: Beginning ESL
This is a basic conversational English course targeting listening, reading, speaking, and some writing in English. Topics include social situations such as greetings, body language, cultural differences, and asking questions both formally and informally.

ESL 1201: Business and Professional Communications
This is a basic business and professional English course targeting listening, reading, speaking, and writing in a professional business setting. Topics and vocabulary include various workplace situations such as banking and money transactions, office terminology, modern transportation, expressions for emergencies, education, and others.

ESL 2201: ESL Listening, Speaking & University Communications 1
In this course, we will learn new techniques that facilitate the development of listening skills and begin to apply these techniques to better understand academic and real-world listening (and videos). You will regularly discuss a variety of academic topics related to listening texts and independently present to the class. In addition, we will regularly practice independent listening and note-taking skills.

ESL 2204: ESL Listening, Speaking & University Communications 4
In this course, we will deepen our listening skills and apply techniques to better understand academic and real-world listening (and videos). We will regularly lead and participate in discussions and a debate. In addition, we will regularly practice independent listening and note-taking skills.
