The bachelor's degree in homeland security at University of Maryland Global Campus is uniquely designed to provide you with an understanding of the homeland security sector. The curriculum covers international and domestic terrorism, emerging technologies, cyber threats, infrastructure protection, emergency preparedness and response, private-sector partnerships, global pandemics, natural disasters, strategic planning, policies, intelligence operations, and international engagement. In this program, you'll develop the necessary critical-thinking, ethical decision-making, risk analysis, and communication skills to meet the professional demands of leadership and management in the homeland security profession.
